Things I have learned from Stefan Sagmeister so far

Stefan's latest book might create the impression that he loves giving advice. Quite the opposite is true which is a very nice feature of his. It took quite some time after we had worked together that I realized what I had learned from him not by his telling me but by his actions. So this is what I concluded and not only did Stefan never say these things explicitly, he might not even approve these assertions:

- Being kind is important. (The opposite is also true.)
- It is essential to create a working environment with a happy, warm and inspiring atmosphere.
- You can be successful and upright at the same time.
- The money you don't spend on useless things is the money that prevents you from doing useless work. (I actually knew that before but it was helpful to have it confirmed.)

(This picture of my brother's bunny has nothing to do with the text above.)
