Interaction takes place between viewer and image by means of a projective imagination.

The work finalklein by Susanne Schuricht shows a surface divided into equal rectangles. Each rectangle displays
the same film sequence. finalklein is a minimalist drama with one hand, one film, and asynchronously playing
sequences of that film which means that each individual film sequence begins marginally earlier or later than the
others. At first unrecognizable, then not dissimilar to a muscle. The paths of movement converge - eventually
focusing the synchronous movement. What once looked like a kaleidoscope is consolidating
into a composite image,
going back to its original: moving hands and fingers.

The full span is covered, with various interpretive possibilities and a dramaturgical climax – from the clear
recognition of the hands and fingers to their dissolution into an abstract pattern. As the film continues the
impressions start to merge, constituting an organism like configuration. In the Web version, the browser is
determining the pattern of the movie. (Wolf Guenter Thiel)
